From Nature-Inspired Childhood to Sustainable Design
My journey in the design field began in my childhood when I felt so at ease in the magnificent forests of South America. Early glimpses of my happiest times go back to painting with my aunt and making pottery jugs and home decor.
In my teenage years, I started a lifelong admiration for the complexity of our beautiful home planet, Earth. The natural stamp that I observed on all elements was that everything—plants, animals, water, etc.—exists for a reason and coexists with their surroundings in perfect balance; there I discovered my passion for sustainability, which led me to become a Discovery and National Geographic Channel fan and a frequent reader for all things science.
Later in life, I connected my own understanding with the ways humanity has been expressing our natural connection with the planet, whether it's in art, sculpture, painting, fashion, or architecture. During my academic years in the interior architecture/design field, I researched more ways to expand the connection we have with our planet and the systems that continue evolving organically to make life thrive, leading me to become a professional designer seeking to help others create unique spaces that cater to each particular need, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, durability, and style.
My multicultural heritage and travels have allowed me to view the world from a different perspective, appreciating other cultures and incorporating those architectural elements into my creations. This is why today I am ready to help you create your dream home or business.
